25 Aug A Wonder in Dallas
I recently discovered a lovely gem right here in Dallas – Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium, at the Texas Discovery Gardens. Fortunately, I overlooked the “Insectarium” part or I might have been dissuaded.
The Butterfly House is filled for wonders for everyone. Each day they release new butterflies – so it is always a unique experience.
The Butterfly House resembles a giant terrarium. Guests walk in a spiral from the top to the bottom.
Along the way, there are various unusual trees, plants, and flowering bushes that attract the butterflies.
Overall it was a wonder to see and I look forward to visiting again soon.
