Last month, I was lucky enough to win a contest for 100 letterpress calling cards from Spark Letterpress, and yesterday, they were delivered to my doorstep (in a box with a pretty yellow bow!):
These are 2.75″ x 2.5″ with fuchsia and royal ink on soft white paper. They feel delicate and pretty to me. I couldn’t be more pleased.
I should also note (or shout it from the rooftops) that Joy and Andrea at Spark were absolutely wonderful to work with. I can’t thank them and Spark enough for their generosity.
I had two inspirations for this design. These pink mailing labels by Paper Pastries (which I bought at the Renegade Craft Fair last year):
And this “Passport Invitation” from Spark’s own collection (see the envelope?)
Since I’m going to the National Stationery Show in May, I wanted to have some calling cards to hand out, and these are perfect.
